There’s a new favourite to win The X Factor 2018 – and it’s Croydon singer Shan.
The 25-year-old session singer brought the judges – and the audience – to their feet during Sunday night’s show with her rendition of The Greatest Showman’s Never Enough.
And quite aside from sailing through to the next round – with Louis Tomlinson calling her performance ‘absolutely unbelievable’ – Shan’s now vaulted straight to the top of the betting, to become the one to beat in this year’s competition.
We still have one more weekend’s worth of auditions still to come – but with bookies Coral offering odds of 3/1 to take the title her position is currently looking good.
Shan had the judges on their feet following her audition and punters have been similarly impressed, so much so that she has been catapulted to favourite in the betting to win this year’s show, said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
